#PLANET NOMADS SPACE FULL#

Once you have unlocked most if not all things in Planet Nomads, your gameplay will revolve into setting up auto miners and just building stuff and playing around with what you have built, which is exactly what you do in Space Engineers (excluding the auto miner part). Planet Nomads planet looks more interesting than any of Space Engineers planets, though to be honest, it also suffers with the fact, that there isn't much to do on the planet. Planet Nomads feels more like Space Engineers than Planet Explorers or anything else with the exception, that the setting is on a planet, has some basic wildlife and you can build from small blocks and some prefabs. Since I have played both, here's what I can say. Sadly developers of Planet Explorers ruined that game and they lost their passion for it a long time ago, even though it had high hopes early on. Planet Nomads does feel similar to Planet Explorers (name similarity too, wink, wink). I kinda like NMS but at points I get bored of it. PN give you a single Random generated world with 'biomes' that span the world in temperate zones that change as you travel North to South, like on a real planet. NMS and PN do encourage exploation, but NMS is an entire universe to explore, with random Gen Planets (which are only random if you are the first to find it).

You can build everything from scratch, starting with the smallest of blocks. NMS has some very limited crafting and base building, and no design options to vehicles. PN is an EA title, so things will be added, changed, and removed as the development continues.

NMS is a full release which should have been an Early Access title. Unlike NMS, PN is currently set to only 1 planet, with spaceflight being a possible future addition. You can link machines, produce items, building and build freely. Planet Nomads is more of a space factory game.
